Teen Service in USA
RUSTIC PATHWAYS IN THE UNITED STATES
Rustic Pathways is dedicated to the service of our country through education, rebuilding, and environmental conservation. For the last five years, we have supported the rebuilding of New Orleans, one of America's greatest cities, and we are proud to expand our programs in the United States with new service trips in Arizona and Northern California in 2011. We have well-traveled full-time and part-time staff in the United States and a deep commitment to excellence and service right here at home.

DID YOU KNOW?
A melting pot of races, nationalities and ethnicities, the United States is rich in culture and tradition. Nowhere is this more evident than in New Orleans, a city colored by French, Spanish, African, and Cajun influences. New Orleans is known as the Birthplace of Jazz and harbors the Tremé, the oldest African-American neighborhood in the United States. Founded on May 7, 1718 by the French brothers Iberville and Beinville, the Crescent City has become one of America's most vibrant cultural centers.
Arizona is home to over 250,000 Native Americans from 21 different tribes, with approximately 105,000 belonging to the Navajo Nation. Over a quarter of the state is comprised of reservations and tribal communities.
With 84 million acres of land protected in national parks and conservation areas, the United States' National Parks System is among the best in the world. The U.S. has 392 national parks that see nearly 286 million visitors a year and protect some of the country's most incredible natural sights, including the Grand Canyon, Yosemite Falls, and Old Faithful.
