The Elephant House

The original structure and main house of our Ricefields Base here in Baan Chiang Yeun.. Each of the house’s 5 large bedrooms and a master VIP suite are fully equipped with new air-conditioning units and fans to suit any temperature control preference. The master VIP suite has a great view of the Base, a large television with international satellite programming, and its own sliding door outside. Baan Yai has six full bathrooms, and can comfortably accommodate 30 people. The house also has wireless internet, an office with several accessible computers, a well-stocked book exchange center, and some amazing art work. There is also plenty of common space in which to relax, a beautiful Thai style wall-fountain at the entrance, and anything else you’d ever need for a comfortable stay. All of the bathrooms are completely up to western standards, and each one has its own distinct style.
