Baan Sanboon - 'The Sanboon Family House'

This is the true heart of the Ricefields Base, and the residence of the entire Sanboon family who care for the Base and all its visitors and staff with perpetual smiles. The house is located at the main entrance to the Base, and the Sanboons always make sure to be the first to say ‘sawat dee’ (Hello and welcome!) to you on your way in, and ‘chock dee’ (good luck!) on your way out. As long as you exercise caution when eating their homemade ‘somtam’ (papaya salad – very spicy!), you have nothing to worry about. Just relax, get acclimated to the ‘Issan’ pace of life, and let the Sanboon family show you a memorable stay.
