Gap Year Blocks are highly structured one-month programs that take place all over the world. Join a small group of like-minded young people and expert guides as you explore the highlights of a particular region and gain a deep understanding of how different cultures operate. When three Gap Year Blocks within a region are combined, they form a three-month Gap Semester. Gap Year Blocks include diverse offerings like language immersion, high adventure, community service, and skills-building programs.
Everyone has their own interests, goals, and dreams, so we’ve made it easy to connect consecutive Gap Year Blocks for those who want more control over the planning of their Gap Year. Perhaps you only have one or two months to spend with Rustic Pathways, or maybe you would like to combine programs in different regions and continents rather than joining a full Gap Semester. These are all excellent reasons to choose Gap Year Blocks. If you are looking for an experience shorter than three months or your ideal year includes programs in multiple regions, Gap Year Blocks provide a perfect solution. You might also decide to connect one or more Gap Year Blocks with a Gap for Good program to broaden your options even further.
Gap Year experiences are as unique and varied as thebright young people who set out on these ambitious journeys. You may wish to spend part of your Gap Year traveling independently or working on an internship. Just because you have other plans or commitments doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all the fun. You can still join up with our amazing guides and enthusiastic groups and embark on some awesome adventures that work within your schedule. Your Gap Year is your own and you don’t have to let time constraints or conflicting scheduling needs detract from your options. With monthly departures, you can plan your travel around whatever else is going on in your life. As long as you plan carefully, your Gap Year is a great time to try as many different things as possible.
