When Rustic Pathways first started, I spoke with parents frequently about the shrinking world we live in, and the importance of exposing children to the wonders of their planet. Nearly 30 years on, the dialog has shifted emphasis, but our mission has not changed at all. Every parent now understands with vivid clarity how connected our planet has become. Discussions with concerned mothers and fathers now center around what the future looks like for their children, the global challenges their generation must address, and the changing shape of education. It is clear to me that as a whole, today's parents are better informed on a global level than they were 29 years ago when Rustic Pathways was founded. They are also more proactive about equipping their children with the skills they will need to thrive.

I would like to stand up and boldly say that I am very optimistic about the future for your daughter or son. In fact, the whole Rustic Pathways leadership is buoyed and charged by what this next generation can achieve. Your children have complex issues to tackle in a world that is in flux and in many ways needs rebalancing and rethinking. Their road will not always be easy, but each year we see thousands of young women and men finding their feet, gathering up their skills and talents, and powering ahead to address the challenges and better their planet. Our students are winners, heroes and champions - bright sparks of positive energy garnering the necessary skills to tackle the unique challenges they and their peers will face.

We partner with parents and teachers in the education of tomorrow's leaders. As experts in experiential education, we amplify lessons students learn at home and in the classroom using the excitement and power of cross-cultural learning. Our programs expand your child's horizons, teach them about their wonderful planet, challenge them to dream, and pump them full of positive energy they can carry home for future use.
