Flight Leaders
Rustic Pathways offers free international airfare for individuals who are selected to act as flight leaders for our summer high school programs. Successful applicants escort a group (or several groups) of high school students from our gateway cities to our international destinations. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have first aid and CPR certification, and be responsible, ethical, organized and conscientious individuals. Flight leaders provide their own transportation to our USA gateway cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, & Newark) and then travel overseas from this gateway as an escort and professional chaperone for a group of high school students on the flight. Once overseas, flight leaders may travel on their own. Flight costs are free in exchange for services as a conscientious escort and professional leader on our overseas flights. Rustic Pathways is very serious about the safety and well-being of its students, and flight leaders must be diligent in their work and must uphold the company's standards and guidelines while caring for the students on their flights. Strong applicants may escort more than one flight during the summer. Overseas stays are generally one to three weeks. The position suits well-organized individuals.
