I decided to take a leap and go on Rustic Cambodia. I didn't know anyone that was going and the fact that I was going to be on the other side of the world was pretty nerve-racking. It was the best experience of my life. We all got a long so well and I made so many amazing friends from all over. The US staff were awesome and their love for the country was completely infectious. The local Khmer staff were amazing as well. They were so much fun and could answer any question you can ask. I don't know of any other programs that could ever let us all get as close as we did. The people of Cambodia were so welcoming and gracious. Rustic allowed me to gain a greater appreciation of what I have, while making lasting connections along the way.
