RUSTIC PATHWAYS IN CHINA
Since 2007, Rustic Pathways has been offering premier language, service and adventure programs in the Middle Kingdom. We offer high school programs during the summer months, as well as Gap Year, group, and family trips throughout the year. Rustic Pathways' China operations are headquartered in the Old Town of Dali in Yunnan Province – the southern land of blue skies and billowy clouds.

DID YOU KNOW?
China is roughly the same size as the U.S., but its population is four times larger. With more than 5,000 years of history, China has helped advance world culture by inventing the compass, gunpowder, and the woodblock printer, as well as the art of paper making. In 2008, China hosted the Beijing Olympic Games and was the first country in 112 years to fully sell out at 6.8 million tickets; however, these weren't the highest-attended games – that honor goes to Atlanta in 1996 with 8.3 million tickets sold. For Beijing's now famous Opening Ceremonies, tickets were sold for anywhere from $ 650 to $ 25,000.
